===== Metodo nuovo con iproute2 =====

Installare il pacchetto Debian **iproute2**.

Aggiungere una scheda VLAN ID 300 su eth2:

ip link add link eth2 name eth2.300 type vlan id 300
</code>

Rimozione di una scheda VLAN:

ip link delete eth2.300
</code>

===== Metodo obsoleto con vconfig =====

Il comando **vconfig** (dal pacchetto Debian **vlan**) è considerato ormai obsoleto (Debian 10 Buster) e potrebbe essere presto rimosso. La strada da seguire è utilizzare il comando **ip** di iproute2.

Creazione di una vlan e attivazione dell'interfaccia tagged:

vconfig add eth0 2
ifconfig eth0.2 up
ifconfig eth0.2 192.168.2.1
</code>

Avendo eseguito il comando si notrà che viene caricato il modulo kernel **8021q** ed è possibile vedere l'attuale stato delle interfacces:

cat /proc/net/vlan/config 
VLAN Dev name    | VLAN ID
Name-Type: VLAN_NAME_TYPE_RAW_PLUS_VID_NO_PAD
eth0.2         | 2  | eth0
</code>

Per rimuovere l'interfaccia:

vconfig rem eth0.2
</code>
